AMD 2

For my AMD 2 assignment, I thought it would be interesting to watch the film "Into the Wild" with German dub overs for awhile. As a disclaimer, I was going to watch it anyway but it was some serious effort to get a version with dubs for it. I ended up going online and finding a stream or something which worked well for like 20 minutes but in the end I am pretty sure it gave me a ton of viruses so that wasn't cool.

I thought it would be a good exercise to watch the movie with subtitles as it seemed to help with "Lola Rennt." It is nice to do things that are a daily activity but also add in a German element to keep the language fresh in mind and enjoyable. Learning a language does not have to be about all work, it should be a natural process that gradually sinks in over time and is applicable to daily life. I have seen "Into the Wild" quite a few times now as well and it is not too dialogue heavy making it easy to follow along in German. It was pretty sweet to be able to understand 80 percent of what was going on.
