I think I'd be a great German ...

After reading the articles, I started to realize that aside from actually being fluent in the German language I have a chance at actually doing well in Germany. In the United States and many other countries I'm sure, we have the "white lies," or the little lies we tell our friends so they don't feel bad. I feel that these do an absolute disservice and don't help the people you lie to. Solution? Be a brutally honest asshole? No. But be honest, and respond honestly. I like that.

Also, the starring old lady in the article kind of freaked me out. It's another thing to stare at the attractive co-worker or some equivalent to that. But from the window? yeah ...

As far as the bitching goes, I was venting to my roommate about doing my German homework tonight, and how iLrn is the biggest pain in the ass. Didn't even send me my access code ... well anyway, it looks like I'm ready to join in with all of the soccer fans.

Sorry this one wasn't in German. I got lazy. Next time will for sure be in German ... I hope.
